Tell us about your kind acts

These are trying times to say the least. We all could use a little pick me up. Something out of the blue. So, we’re inviting you to be the ‘pebble’ to start the ripple of selfless deeds. Share your story with us about how you are making a positive impact with others, or read what others are doing to get inspiration for yourself. This is a community forum to bring thoughts of inspiration together to make this a better place for everyone!

  1. This is great!

  2. I’m going to bring some Panera heart cookies to the arena tonight and give them to other Hockey Moms! Let’s all Panera It Forward!

  3. After school today, I looked my daughter right in the eyes and told her that my favorite part of the day was right now, knowing we would have the rest of the day to be together :)

    • Good for you!!! The most important thing you can do for your child(ren) is to spend quality time with them! Make memories! And, love them by doing things with them – they’ll carry that forward!

  4. My grandma is in town visiting for the week. I know she LOVES Panera Bread broccoli cheddar soup. This afternoon I am going to pick her up and treat her to piping hot bowl! Thanks for reminding me it is the little things that happen every day that make up life long memories.

  5. My daughter and I made up extra Valentine cards to give out to people. Everyone can use a little card, a few jelly beans, and a new pencil to brighten their day. :)

  6. I am part of an online coaching program where we give ourselves “points” for the things we have accomplished each day. One of the ways to gain points each day is SAK (Small Acts of Kindness) – as small as that “Thinking of You” note or as big as planning meals for a family who has lost a young member – it’s all very important. This is great!

  7. I donate procceds and products from my Avon business

  8. Last night I passed along some little goodies to my girlfriends just ‘because’ … they were so happy! This Panera It Forward thing is fun

  9. Kitty Gamble Says:

I intend to plant an organic herb & vegetable garden to share the crops I grow & harvest with my community’s local food pantry. While it’s yet winter, I’m still planning this project.

  10. Today, I was lucky enough to get outside in the beautiful sunshine with another Panera It Forward Ambassador and spread a little joy by handing out free breakfast sandwich coupons. Friday afternoons can feel like a drag and it was refreshing to see so many smiling faces when they got their coupon. At first in this experience people were a little hesitant to speak with two strangers, but once they realized we were promoting Panera through Random Acts of Kindness Week, there was nothing but smiling faces. After all, who couldn’t use a few more random acts of kindness in their lives?

  11. We prepared and delivered a meal for a single mom and her kids.

  12. I paid for the person behind me in line at the fast food joint. It’s usually only a few bucks and makes someone’s day! You never know when they need a helping hand, only wish that everyone would pay it forward once in a while!

  13. My girlfriends & I always get together for birthday dinner several times a year. 2 years ago we decided we were getting past the “birthday party” stage and decided to start “paying it forward”. Every month (or 2) we get together for our girls dinner. We call ahead for our reservation and ask a manager to put us in a section of a server that maybe needs a little extra help or recognition. Every girl brings and extra $10 to throw into a card at the end of the meal. Typically between the 8-10 of us that go, we can make someone’s night a bit brighter. All we ask, in the card, is that they do something nice for someone else in return.
